What is R-fine?

R-fine is a treatment method which helps the skin revitalize and rejuvenate itself. This comes about by the administering of a safe substance which is found in the body: hyaluronic acid. How does R-fine work?
R-fine is a treatment method called mesotherapy. The word meso means middle, because the treatment is for the middle layer of the skin - the layer under the epidermis (outer layer). By injecting hyaluronic acid in the mesodermis, the body’s own supply of hyaluronic acid is supplemented. The moisture balance is thus restored and the skin regains its elasticity. Wrinkles, especially superficial lines, are smoothed away.

As well as this, the injections cause an improvement in the skin’s blood circulation. The supply of nutrients and the removal of waste products take place more efficiently.

Is the treatment painful?
Generally, the treatment is quite painless, because the injections do not penetrate very deep into the surface of the skin and a very thin needle is used. In principle, anaesthetic is unnecessary. However, the treatment can be carried out on request using an anaesthetic cream or gel.
